One thing that absolutely amazes me is that I'm soo not perfect & I have a lot of flaws, but God still loves me! We can be so messed up, but yet God still takes the time to be with us & help us out. He's so amazing. He knows when we are going to mess up before we do. He knows all about our problems. He knows how bad we hurt. He knows everything! Now how cool is that?! I'm so glad that I don't have to be perfect because my Dad is. Everything about Him covers up our wrongs!
I sit here typing this just in awe of God. I'm so not perfect & I make mistakes, but He constantly reminds me that He is God & because He's perfect I don't have to be. But that doesn't mean that I don't have to strive to be like Him. His word says "As for God, His ways are PERFECT: The Lord's word is FLAWLESS he shields all who take refuge in him." (2 Samuel 22:31)
It's amazing to know that we serve a perfect God. I no longer stress when I make mistakes because I'm reminded that my Dad is perfect & I'm forgiven!
Today, know that every mistake you've made does not define who you are. You are loved by the one & only perfect God! He forgives you & He wants to be your refuge. Find your strength in Him. Don't allow the enemy to tell you that God doesn't want anything to do with you because he is WRONG! Our mistakes were forgiven when Jesus laid down His life for us thousands of years ago on a cross! Don't give your past the control over your present & your future. We all fall, but we have to get back up, dust off & continue with God. He's willing to except & clean you up. Let God be God in your life. Keep going (:

DeleteThis truly touched my heart. I was recently going through something and I felt like God didn't want anything to do with me because of the same mistake I kept making. But I know in his word, that Jesus died for us, and he already paid the price. So as long as I earnestly ask the Lord for forgiveness and strive to be more like him everyday, I'll be fine :)
