2013♥

   "Thank you, Lord", was all I could say this morning. During my quiet time with the Father, all I could do was thank Him as tears fell from my eyes. Today is the last day of 2013. The very last day. This year flew by so incredibly fast, but I'm so thankful for every moment of it. I remember starting this year off so excited. I was excited because I would graduate from high school in May with an A.A. degree. I knew that this year would be incredible because of those things, but I had no idea how life changing it would be. 
   This year, I attended many awards banquets and ceremonies. I graduated from high school and finished two years of college, sung at many different events, and started college at the greatest university, the University of South Florida! All of those things were so great, but the best moments were the times that I spent with God.
   Times spent with God this year were more personal and intimate than ever before. Each time, I truly felt God working on me and molding me. The most important lesson that I had to learn was to trust God. Going off to college was pretty tough. It wasn't easy being in an unfamiliar place with barely any money and no family or friends around. I had to be more dependent on God. I had to trust that my financial situation was worked out. I had to trust that He would send the right people to my life. Relying on myself was not going to get me through! Through it all, He has and He continues to bless my life as I keep trusting! There were so many obstacles thrown my way this year, but God has taught me to trust Him through it all. 
   2013 was an amazing year for me, tears and all. I'm learning to take everyday is a lesson, and I'm growing as a young woman in God. I thank God for the opportunity to grow. I thank God for the opportunity to get to know Him better. I thank God for every blessing that He's given me this year. I'm excited about the year of 2014. I know for a fact that God is going to do some pretty amazing things! I'm looking forward to another prosperous year!
