Father's Day is such a bittersweet day. Some girls shower their dads with gifts and some mourn the death of their fathers, while so many girls are bitter and angry with their fathers. I am blessed to have a great relationship with my daddy, but I know that many girls in our generation grow up without having a father in their lives.
Many girls are led astray because they don't have that love that only a father can give. They try to find love in the wrong guys because they've never had a father to show them what true love is. Many girls are angry and bitter towards their fathers because he never took the time out to establish a relationship with her.
If you are one of those girls who've never had a relationship with your father, I encourage you today to establish a relationship with Christ. Christ will fill that emptiness inside of you with His unconditional love. Christ's love with heal every wound and every scar that was left by your biological father. Christ loves you & He wants you to be His. 1 John 3:1 says, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him."
Commit your life to Christ, fall in love with Him & watch Him fill your emptiness with His unconditional love. Girls that have lost their fathers or that don't have a relationship with their fathers aren't the only ones that need to establish a relationship with Christ. Every girl needs to! Some girls that have relationships with their fathers are also empty too, and the only person that can fill that emptiness is Christ!
So, girls love on Christ this Father's Day & every other day. Girls with great fathers, love your fathers & Christ today & everyday. Show them how much you appreciate everything that they do & how much you love them!
