God or Friends?

Hey girls! I hope everything is going great! I know things for me are wonderful. On this post I want to talk about what's more important God or friends.Now, I know you're thinking to yourself saying "God of course", but really think about that for a moment. What if you really had to make that choice. Well, as Christians we will definitely come to that point some time in our lives. I'm definitely experiencing it now.
Two weeks ago, I promised God that I would have a deeper lifestyle with Him. I promised Him that I was moving forward & letting go of the past completely. Well, since I've made that promise with God I immediately found things in my life changing. An area that has definitely changed is my friendships.
I have been feeling like I have no friends at all. There's no one that I contact on a day to day basis but God. If I do communicate with my "friends" it's just at school & church.That is all. See, this whole transition has been a little difficult for me because I'm so used to being friends with everybody & talking to everybody. I feel as if God is taking me away from everyone else so that I can focus on Him & Him alone.
I just felt the need to share this with you girls because I know that I'm not the only one who is experiencing it, & I'm not going to be the only one who has experienced it. I just want to tell you, girl you hold on to God. You keep going with Him & move forward. The road we'll have to travel may get lonely some times & you may seem like you're in a desert with no one in site, but reaching your highest potential in God is more important that any other person on this earth. God places some individuals in our lives for only a season. When God is trying to elevate you to a higher place in Him He will start ridding people out of your life. You might not understand why, but believe God has a reason for it. People walked away from & hated Jesus, but He keep following His father. He knew what His purpose was & He fulfilled it if He had friends or not. Once you give your life to God completely & focus on your pu you will realize that your so called friends will be no where to be found. You will begin to feel awkward around people who you once were comfortable around. Your fake friends will be revealed. You will began to feel as if you are alone, but baby girl God is with you at all times. Just wave goodbye to your old friends, take His hand & move forward. He will send people into your life that'll make a positive impact. Plus, Jesus is  the greatest friend of all. It'll be just you & Jesus against the world.

Choose God over unreliable friends & watch  everything fall into place. He'll never walk out on you. Just keep telling yourself that & enjoy the greatest friendship you could EVER have. You & the Father♥
