You're Beautiful Just the Way You Are!

Hey girls! I hope everyone is doing wonderful & loving God more and more each day! I know I am :) I just want to share with you girls this topic today because God has been dealing with me about self image. I've lost 20lbs(!!!) & I'm going back to my natural hair. I'm transforming into this new person & sometimes I struggle with how I look. Just like every other teenage girl I want to look good! lol I was focusing on my clothes & hair soo much that if they weren't what everyone thought was "cute" I would get really upset. So, one day I was reading my Bible & a verse stuck out to me. Matthew 6:25 in the MSG Bible says:

"If you decide for God, living a life of God-worship, it follows that you don't fuss about what's on the table at mealtimes or whether the clothes in your closet are in fashion. There's far more to your life than the food you put in your stomach, more to your outer appearance than the clothes you hang on your body." 

You see God wants us to realize that there's more to life than the way we look. We are beautiful just the way God created us! The Bible tells us that we are fearfully & wonderfully made! This shows us that each of us are unique & we're all specially made. Your clothes, hair, shoes, etc. doesn't make you beautiful. What makes you beautiful is that your Father created you to be YOU!

Last night I made a list called "I Am Beautiful...". I had two sides 1. Not Because & 2. Because. (My List is below)

I encourage each of you girls to do this to help build up your self confidence. The next time you feel as if you're not beautiful look at that list.
Girl, you are so beautiful!! If no one else calls you beautiful look at yourself in the mirror & say "heyy good lookin'!" Trust me I do it ALL the time! lol Learn that you are beautiful the way God created you. Who cares what the world says?! Tell the world that your Father created you fearfully & wonderfully! You are beautiful :)
