Be Bold for Christ in School!

Have you ever made the decision to give your life to Christ & were soo determined to live for Him, but when you got to school all of that changed? If so, this is for you. You know deep down in your heart that you want to have relationship with Christ, but you find it hard to keep that relationship going when you face the pressure of your peers at school. I understand because I've been there before!
In middle school, I would go to church & give my life to the Lord & then go to school & try to curse, be loud & act just like everybody else. Around 8th grade, I talked to God & told Him that I wanted to be His no matter what people would think! So, I started proclaiming Jesus as my savior. Of course, I would get picked at, but in the end I didn't care. After a while, everyone knew that I was saved and saved for real! Now, everyone respects & admires the fact that I have a personal relationship with Christ at such young age. I truly believe that because I have been true to God, He has allowed many doors to open for me. For example, at 15, I started taking college courses at a local college. At the age of 17, I became a full time student there. When the school board made budget cuts for the dual enrollment program, I was the only student from my high school that was allowed to stay at the college full time. I didn't say all of that to brag, but to tell you that once you make it known that Christ is who you're living for & not everyone else, He will show you extreme FAVOR!
Don't be afraid to be the different one in school. God has called us to be salt & light in the world, meaning to be different in a world where everyone else acts the same. You don't have to curse, listen to the latest rapper, or do other things because everyone is doing it, sweetie! Be the young lady God has called you to be! The next time you go to school, let everyone know that you are changing your life & living for Christ!! So what if they don't accept you! Jesus tells us in John 15:18 that if the world hates you, remember that it hated Him first. As long as Jesus accepts you that's all that matters! Choose to be bold for Christ in school or wherever you may go & watch His blessings pour down on you.
