You're Worth More Than That.

We live in a society where it seems like being in a relationship has to be our top priority. Everyone wants to find that "special someone", and sometimes we find someone & are convinced that he is our "special someone". We'll do anything to make it work just so we can say that we have someone. Sometimes we allow this person to walk all over us & do whatever, but because we want to be loved soooo bad we keep holding on.
You see I've been there. Yes, me. There's this guy & while we were dating about 2 years ago a lot of people were like "he's the one." "you two are so cute together." You know how they do. So, I was convinced that I was supposed to be with this guy for the rest of my live. Because I "loved" him, I was determined to be there for him even after God split us apart. For some reason things just would not work between us. Even though I knew in my mind that we would never be back together, I could not seem to let him go. Just the thought of letting someone go that I "loved" was just terrible. I couldn't get him out of my system.
Until one day, God started dealing with me about fear. God told me that one of my greatest fears was losing him, but it's now time to let him go. It was either him or Jesus. Of course, I chose Jesus & I must tell you that I feel good! I thought of ways to explain this to him, but Jesus just told me to follow Him & that's what I'm doing. I said all of that because God was helping me realize that just because it was doesn't mean that it has to be now.
As God's daughters we deserve nothing but the absolute best! We are His princesses & we deserve someone who is going to love God more than us! A lot of girls run from guy to guy, or complain about how they need & want a boyfriend at such a young age. I'm telling you as a sister that YOU'RE WORTH MORE THAN THAT! You don't have to settle for nothing, but what God has for you! You want that love, love Jesus. You want a best friend, let Jesus be your best friend. There is nothing that anyone can give you that can compare to what God can give you. Do yourself a favor & stop hurting yourself by settling for less. Give God your heart & when He feels the time is right that "special someone" will come.
Don't be fearful to give up that person. Don't worry if everyone is in a relationship because you have no idea what they are going through with that person. You deserve the best, so no longer settle for less. Love you.
