"With You is where I belong...."

   Her face was so familiar to me. I remember seeing her at a Christian organization in the beginning of school, but shortly she disappeared. Last week was our first encounter in a while. This time, it was different. She looked different. As we walked past each other our eyes locked. It was only for a short time, but it seemed like forever. I instantly thought "she doesn't belong". It's like I could feel her cry to be rescued.....

   A lot of you girls are where she is right now. You don't belong with the people that you are hanging around. You're compromising your faith & changing who you are because you just want to be accepted.
   I know its hard when it seems like you're all alone. I know its tough when you have been cast out all of your life. You're so tired of being alone that you're willing to do WHATEVER it takes to make people like you, whether its curse, exploit your body, hook up with random guys, drugs, etc.

Baby girl, stop.

 Please understand that the same God that made you, is the same one that desires to be close to you. He loves & adores you! You don't have to do all of these crazy things to make people like you because you are already accepted by the most high GOD! You are the apple of His eye. You are the love of His life. You belong with HIM! So what if they tease you because you've never had sex. So what if they look at you funny because of your size. So what if they talk trash about what you wear. GOD loves you for YOU!! 

   I know you're tired. Tired of doing all of these things & you still end up feeling like you're alone & empty. You're saying to yourself, "there has to be more". Sis, there is more & God is willing to be that for you if you just allow Him to. God will give you this amazing joy. He will give you confidence in who He created you to be. He will fill you like only He can. Give your heart to Jesus. Give your all to Him & I guarantee that He will change your life for the better. You won't ever have to question His love for you. You won't ever feel like you're not accepted.
   I'm not trying to preach to you, but I want you to know that you are accepted & loved by God. He truly cares about you. Don't walk around depressed because people don't like you. Don't keep sleeping with guys so that you can get attention. The attention & the love that you desire is there waiting for you. Ask God to open your eyes & help you to see that with Him is where you truly belong.
